My cat passed away. :(
So for my birthday I found out that my cat had a urinary tract infection and she broke her leg in two. Because of her age she wouldn’t have survived surgery. The only other option was putting her to sleep. We brought her home last night to say good bye. She had her final meal and as a family held and loved on her as much as she wanted us to. Oblivious to what fate had in store this afternoon. We said our good byes at 11 because the vet wouldn’t let us stay for her being put down. She saw us for the last time through bars surrounded by a strange environment and animals she didn’t know. Brave to the end. Purring and happy. Sweet as can be, I’ll miss her good morning nuzzles the most. She was 18. Still as frisky as the day we got her even with a broken leg. Such spirit should never be extinguished, not many humans have as much life as she did. Ill miss her forever. Good bye my sweet cat I’ll always love you.
